Hannah started painting as an outlet to process grief. Overtime, she saw the value in creating color - it wasn’t only for herself, but to share with others in need of levity. At first painting seemed frivolous to explore past personal interest, but when she saw that her best friend who was battling cancer had one of her paintings move with her from hospital room to hospital room, Hannah realized that flowers, color - light, was well worth her energy.

Hannah uses her own experiences and relationships with others to inspire her work. Her style of painting - purposefully messy yet intentional, grounded yet ethereal, playful, and layered- is a reflection of her upbringing and most influential relationships.

Hannah currently resides in the mountains of North Carolina with her boyfriend and three cats.

It is my hope to share with you my life that profoundly impacts how and why I paint.

That to me is, living art.
